On December 12, 2022, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliyev met with the Chairman of the management board of the Small and medium business development agency of the Azerbaijan Republic (KOBIA) Orkhan Mammadov, during which an exchange of views took place on the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the economic sphere, and the possibilities of implementing joint projects.

In particular, the parties discussed the results of economic cooperation in 2022, taking into account the visits of the heads of state, the signing of documents on cooperation between KOBIA and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. In addition, the parties discussed plans to increase economic cooperation, in particular, holding business forums in the Azerbaijan Republic and the Kyrgyz Republic.

Also, Ambassador K. Osmonaliev invited O. Mammedov to the opening of the Trade house of the Kyrgyz Republic in Baku, scheduled for the end of December this year.
