On January 23, 2023, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Germany Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev met with the Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Umbriel Temiraliev, who arrived in Germany on a working visit.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on expanding trade and economic cooperation with German companies and attracting investments in various sectors of the Kyrgyz economy.

On the same day, a meeting was held with the Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. U.Temiraliev and the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Germany Mr. O. Tekebaev with the Executive Director of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy and representatives of large German companies interested in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the following companies: Claas (a major manufacturer of agricultural machinery), Deutsche Bahn (German Railways), Berlin Economics, Messe Berlin, Agribusiness Alliance (association of agricultural and food industry companies) and Malcon Investment&Projects.

During the meeting , Mr. U.Temiraliyev presented the investment potential of Kyrgyzstan to German companies with a presentation of projects in the fields of energy, agriculture, tourism, IT industry, medicine and infrastructure development, including the mechanism of public-private partnership.

The Embassy also worked out meetings for the Director of the National Agency for Investments under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. U.Temiraliev during the period from January 24 to 27, 2023, with representatives of state bodies and companies of the federal states of Saxony, Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia.
