On January 24, 2023, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany Mr.Omurbek Tekebaev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Germany Mr. Nasimi Aghayev.

During the meeting, the sides shared their views on the current bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan with Germany and plans to further deepen bilateral relations. The heads of diplomatic institutions agreed to maintain close contacts in order to interact and jointly promote issues of mutual interest.

In addition, the sides exchanged views on cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan within the framework of international organizations, including the Organization of Turkic States. In this regard, the parties agreed to organize a joint event with the participation of representatives of Central Asian and Turkic-speaking states.
