In honor of the celebration of the spring holiday Nooruz, on March 18, 2023, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Federal Republic of Germany hosted a visit to the exhibition “Snow Leopard Expedition”, organized at the Embassy from the German Nature Conservation Union (Naturschutzbund Deutschland - NABU).

The event was attended by representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora from various parts of Germany and their children, as well as German friends living in Berlin.

NABU staff organized a tour of the exhibition dedicated to the protection of the snow leopard and wildlife in Kyrgyzstan and other countries where the snow leopard lives.

For children, the organizers of the exhibition organized a separate program, in which children were able to get information about the snow leopards living high in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, and make their own badges about the snow leopard.

The NABU Snow Leopard Expedition will run at the Embassy until the end of April 2023. This exhibition contributes not only to providing information on the protection of the snow leopard under the NABU project, but also to attracting the attention of German residents to the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan.
