Kyrgyz-German Cultural Society in Berlin, was held in Potsdam, the Federal Land of Brandenburg.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Mr.O. Tekebaev and the Embassy staff with family members, residents of the cities of Berlin and Potsdam, representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Germany, as well as representatives of the Kazakh diaspora in Berlin.

The holiday was organized in the yurt town "Nomadenland", located in the central park of Potsdam. The owner of the yurt camp, Matthias Michel, offers visitors to the city park the culture and traditions of the Kyrgyz people in three Kyrgyz yurts located in the park.

During the celebration, the guests were presented with a Kyrgyz folk dance performed by our compatriot Ms.Gulsana Otahanova. Guests are also offered Kyrgyz national dishes and Kyrgyz national games are organized.

 Holding such events contributes to the rapprochement of cultures between the two countries and the popularization of Kyrgyz culture on German soil.
