On January 26, 2024, in Frankfurt am Main, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Omurbek Tekebaev with the Managing Director of AKA Bank Marck Wengrzik.

During the meeting, Ambassador O.Tekebaev reported on the development of the banking system in Kyrgyzstan and discussed the possibilities of cooperation with AKA Bank in order to develop the banking and financial system in the Kyrgyz Republic, including on export financing issues.

Marck Wengrzik noted the interest of the German bank in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan. Following the meeting, the Parties agreed to hold a forum in April 2024 in Frankfurt am Main with the participation of representatives of the banking and financial sectors of the two countries.
