On January 25, 2024, in Frankfurt am Main, Federal State of Hesse, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Omurbek Tekebaev with the Head of the Credit Risk Management Department of the group of a large German bank Commerzbank AG, Stuart R. Carraway.

Ambassador O.Tekebaev expressed the interest of the Kyrgyz side in developing relations with Commerzbank AG and discussed the possibilities of cooperation, including opening correspondent accounts for banks from Kyrgyzstan in this bank. The Ambassador reported on the planned meeting of representatives of the banking and financial sectors of Kyrgyzstan and Germany and invited representatives of the bank to take part in this event.

During the meeting, the Parties discussed in detail the possibilities of cooperation with Commerzbank AG in interested areas.
