On February 5, 2024, in Munich, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Omurbek Tekebaev with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, State Development and Energy of the Federal State of Bavaria Tobias Gotthardt.

Ambassador O.Tekebaev provided information on current issues of Kyrgyz-German cooperation and noted the importance of expanding interaction in the economic sphere between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Federal State of Bavaria.

During the meeting, the Parties discussed in detail the possibilities of cooperation in various areas of the economy of mutual interest, including employment issues, and also agreed to hold a joint business forum and exchange visits in the economic sphere between Kyrgyzstan and Bavaria.
