On March 22, 2024, a meeting of the Ambassadors of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in Germany with the Managing Director of the Hamburg Renewable Energy Cluster, Jan Rispens, took place in Hamburg. The meeting was organized by the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce.

During the meeting, Jan Rispens provided information on the activities of the Hamburg Renewable Energy Cluster, which includes about 250 German companies working on financing, research, production, project development and legal advice in the field of renewable energy.

The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Omurbek Tekebaev reported on the existing potential in Kyrgyzstan for solar, wind and hydropower and called on the Hamburg Renewable Energy Cluster to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan.
