On June 7, 2022, the Tourism Roadshow was held in New Delhi, organized by the Tourism Development Support Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic along with the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in India and Salvia Promoters.

The event opened with a welcoming speech by the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to India Asein Isaev, who noted that in the Kyrgyz Republic tourism is recognized as a priority sector of the economy, and the Government pays close attention to its condition and development. Asein Isaev also emphasized that the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in New Delhi will continue to support all Indian travel agencies in their efforts to create better conditions for Indian tourists to travel to the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Kyrgyz delegation, represented by the President of the said Foundation Elena Kalashnikova, as well as representatives of the Foundation, continued the road show with a presentation of the Kyrgyz Republic and its many opportunities for cultural, historical, sports, extreme, event and ecotourism. In addition, key tourism projects were presented, as well as a corner with traditional drinks and dried fruits brought from Kyrgyzstan.

In total, the event was actively attended by about 70 leading travel companies, as well as 10 representatives of the Indian media, who showed interest in further interaction with Kyrgyz partners in the field of tourism.

The guests of the event were able to get acquainted with the printed promotional products of tourism in Kyrgyzstan, as well as colorful videos that reveal the rich tourism potential of the country.

Today, June 8, the country's tourism potential will be presented to a wide audience of tour operators in one of the largest cities in India, Mumbai.
