On  March 7, 2020, Employees  of the  Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Islamic  Republic of Iran (Tehran) traveled to the Iranian-Turkmen border checkpoint "Serakhs" and checkpoint "Lutfabad" to provide the necessary consular and legal assistance and support to truck drivers.

         As is known, in connection with the outbreak of the coronovirus, the Turkmen side closed its border with Iran, which led to the accumulation of transit trucks of other countries.

        The   Embassy of  the Kyrgyz  Republic in  Tehran  keeps this issue under its control and maintains constant contact with truck drivers - citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic temporarily located in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
