On April 18, 2024, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Italy Taalai Bazarbaev met with the General Director of the famous Italian producer of mineral drinking water “Aqua e Terme di Fiuggi S.p.A” Marco Camplone.

During the meeting, T. Bazarbaev informed about the significant potential of water resources in Kyrgyzstan. Taking into account the growing global demand for bottled water he presented promising investment projects in Kyrgyzstan. Also, the Ambassador expressed the readiness of the kyrgyz side to establish cooperation with the Italian company by attracting innovative technologies, equipment, as well as exchanging best production practices and experience.

M.Camplone expressed his readiness to study the proposals of the kyrgyz side, including inviting specialists from Kyrgyzstan to introduce them to the latest technologies in the production process of the Italian company.

The source of water is located in a volcanic area at the foot of the Apennine Mountains and is famous for its cleansing and healing properties, as well as trace elements mentioned by the outstanding artist Michelangelo Buonarroti in 1549.
