I am sure that your visit will have a strong impact on the further development of Kyrgyz-Kazakh relations.

Today, Kasym-Zhomart Kemelevich and I discussed the priority areas of bilateral relations.

They also held comprehensive and effective negotiations covering a wide range of Kyrgyz-Kazakh relations.

I note that they were held in the spirit of mutual trust and understanding.

In addition, we discussed the issue of further development and deepening of allied relations and strategic partnership between our countries.

As part of this visit, a meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council was held, which has not been held for the past five years.

We examined issues of interaction in the trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, water and energy and transport sectors.

We also agreed to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in other areas.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of cultural cooperation between the two fraternal countries, having a common history, language, religion and traditions.

We agreed that in this area it is necessary to actively develop cooperation.

We discussed issues of interaction within the Eurasian Economic Union.

An exchange of views took place on pressing regional and international issues.

They noted joint actions in the format of multilateral cooperation.

We noted with satisfaction the increase in the volume of mutual trade between our countries.

Compared to last year, this year this indicator increased by 10.5 percent.

The number of Kyrgyz-Kazakh joint ventures increased to 1900 and this circumstance may serve as the basis for achieving new successes in the economy.

Following the results of today's negotiations, a number of documents were signed.

One of the main documents is the Comprehensive Program for Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

This program covers all areas of bilateral cooperation.

In general, the Kyrgyz side is pleased with the results of the negotiations, and I would like to note the fruitful continuation of our cooperation.

Today's talks will give impetus to the further active continuation of political, economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation at all levels.

Fraternal, allied, and strategic partnerships between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will create the prerequisites for the well-being of our peoples.
