On December 1, 2019 the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the 12th annual Christmas charity fair of Embassies and representative offices of international organizations accredited in Nur Sultan.

The event was attended by 53 diplomatic missions. A distinctive feature of this year's fair was the environmental theme - natural products and a friendly attitude to the environment.

The organizer of the annual fair in Nur Sultan is the Association of Spouses of Ambassadors Accredited in Kazakhstan (ASA).

Welcoming speeches at the opening ceremony of the fair were made by the Chairman of the Association, the spouse of Ambassadors accredited to Kazakhstan, the wife of the Ambassador of Switzerland L.Schmid, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan R.Vasilenko, Doyen of the diplomatic corps Ambassador of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Nichkasov.

At the stand of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kazakhstan, national dishes and drinks, products of traditional applied art, and export products of Kyrgyzstan were presented. Guests of the event could get acquainted with the tourism and investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The main goal of the fair is to unite the efforts of many people, companies, organizations to help those who are in a difficult situation. All funds raised will be transferred to orphanages and to help low-income families.
