On December 24, 2019 the meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh.Kulubaev with the Mayor of the city of Nur-Sultan A.Kulginov took place.

During the meeting the issues of cooperation between the cities of Bishkek and Nur-Sultan and the City Halls of the two capitals were discussed, including prospect areas of cooperation and plans for 2020.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh.Kulubaev noted the interest of the Kyrgyz side in organizing a visit at the expert level of the Bishkek City Hall to Nur Sultan in order to exchange experiences on improving the quality of life of citizens. The parties also discussed the issues related to the establishment of monuments dedicated to Manas and Ch.Aitmatov in the city of Nur-Sultan.

Mayor of Nur-Sultan A.Kulginov, in his turn, expressed his readiness for further joint work with the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Kazakhstan and the Bishkek Mayor's Office to resolve all of the above mentioned issues. A.Kulginov also noted the readiness of the Kazakh side to accept the visit of the Mayor of Bishkek to the city of Nur-Sultan.
