On December 24, 2019 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh.Kulubaev has met with the representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora living in the city of Nur-Sultan.

During the meeting of the Ambassador Zh.Kulubaev informed the meeting participants about the activities of the Embassy, ​​about significant events held in 2019 in the field of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

Ambassador Zh.Kulubaev thanked the representatives of the diaspora for cooperation with the Embassy, ​​as well as their active participation in assisting and assisting Kyrgyz citizens who are in the Republic of Kazakhstan and who have found themselves in difficult life situations. As part of the meeting, members of the Council for Relations with Compatriots Abroad under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter referred to as the Council) Ashirbekov Zharashbek and Shamatov Duishon presented a brief report on the results of the Council meeting in August this year in Bishkek.

They also talked about the promotion of the Meken-Kart and Mekenim projects.

In addition, the meeting participants asked questions of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding their stay in Kazakhstan. Separately, questions were asked about the participation of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic staying in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the upcoming parliamentary elections in the Kyrgyz Republic and the shortcomings in compiling the list of voters that took place in the previous elections in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The staff of the Embassy gave appropriate answers, as well as expressed requests and recommendations for the submission of biometric data for the formation of a list of voters in Kazakhstan.
