On March 26, 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic R.Kazakbaev held a videoconference with the heads of the of foreign missions of the Kyrgyz Republic (Embassies, Permanent Missions to International organizations, General Consulates) on summarizing results of implementation of October 2020 -  February 2021 Anti-Crisis Action Plan of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and on the progress in implementing the Second (February - June 2021) Anti-Crisis Plan.
Implementation progress of priority issues of the main directions of both Anti-Crisis Plans of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, approved by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.N. Japarov, were considered and discussed, particularly in items of foreign policy measures to maintain domestic political and social stability and security, stabilizing the COVID-19 epidemiological situation.
As a whole, the Ministry and foreign missions of the Kyrgyz Republic, within the framework of the Anti-Crisis Plans, organized and accomplished 602 events (275 - by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, 327 – by the foreign missions of the Kyrgyz Republic), including 87 visits (of the Minister R.Kazakbayev, the Acting President of the Kyrgyz Republic T.Mamytov, the Prime Minister A.Novikov, foreign visits of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S. Japarov to Russia in February 2021, to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in March 2021, etc.), 71 statements / information messages, 291 meetings , 86 videoconferences, 65 interviews and telephone conversations of the President, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic, Permanent Representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic to international organizations, Consuls General of the Kyrgyz Republic, Charge d'Affaires of the Kyrgyz Republic, etc.
As a result of organized and well-coordinated efforts in evacuating citizens to homeland by the Ministry with the support of partner countries a total of 55,192 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic from 67 countries of the world were returned to homeland last year.
Timely external assistance was mobilized by the Ministry to provide the healthcare system of the Kyrgyz Republic with test systems, laboratory tests reagents, PCR tests, personal protective equipment, ventilators, oxygen concentrators and other medical equipment.
In their turn, the heads of foreign missions of the Kyrgyz Republic informed about their work on implementation of tasks defined in the Anti-crisis Plans, as well as on preparations on conducting abroad the Referendum on the draft Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic on April 11, 2021.
Concluding the meeting Minister R.Kazakbayev assigned the staff of the Ministry and foreign missions of the Kyrgyz Republic with tasks to intensify efforts in engaging investments, protecting the rights of citizens abroad, maintaining food security, attracting financial, technical and other assistance, and  has outlined tasks within the framework of the new functions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of external migration, which were transferred to the jurisdiction of the Foreign Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic after the approval of the new structure of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic. Special attention was paid to the importance for the foreign missions of the Kyrgyz Republic of ensuring the implementation of the constitutional right of our citizens abroad to vote in the upcoming Referendum.
