A.Adanbaev,  a counsellor of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Tajikistan  took part in the round table on "SCO 2022: en route to new development goals" held on February 22, 2022. The event was held at the SCO Friendship and Cooperation Center in Tajikistan and was dedicated to the first anniversary of the establishment of the Center.

The round table was attended by the Deputy Secretary General of the SCO, partners of the Center, including the SCO's Youth Platform "SCOLAR Network", the branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University in Dushanbe, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the embassies of the SCO member states and experts in the field.

During the event, the organizers presented the Action Plan of the SCO Friendship and Cooperation Center in Tajikistan for 2022, including joint projects expanding the areas of cooperation of the mechanisms of people's diplomacy within the SCO.

On the event, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Tajikistan pointed out that the Kyrgyz Republic is considering cooperation within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as one of the priorities of its foreign policy. It was also noted that the events planned for 2022 under the SCO Friendship and Cooperation Center in Tajikistan will in real sense contribute to the further rapprochement of our countries, the promotion of mutual trust and foster good neighborliness.

In turn, representatives of the SCO Friendship and Cooperation Center in Tajikistan noted the importance of developing cross-border cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan, in particular, organizing various cultural and other events between residents of the border territories of our countries.

In addition, the interest of the Center in cooperation and establishing contacts with the Cultural Integration Center of the SCO countries in Bishkek was expressed.
