On December 18, 2020, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with President of the Turkish Maarif Foundation Birol Akgun.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of Agreement between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Turkish Maarif Foundation on opening and operating private educational institutions in the Kyrgyz Republic.

In addition, Mr. Akgun noted that for the implementation of Agreement, the  Foundation opened an office in Kyrgyzstan, and next year it is planned to open a school in Bishkek, including all levels of education.
