On February 11, 2021, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with Press Secretary, Deputy Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Turkey İbrahim Kalyn.

The parties noted the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation and conduct official visits at the highest level in 2021 and the 5th meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.

Ambassador K. Omuraliev expressed gratitude to the Turkish side for assistance in the ratification by the Turkish parliament of the Intergovernmental Agreement on the opening, joint management and transfer of the Bishkek State Hospital to the Kyrgyz-Turkish friendship for the purpose of its further full functioning.
