On February 15, 2021, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with the Head of the Kechioren Municipality of Ankara, Turgut Altynok.

The parties noted the necessity of the further development of cooperation in various fields and the exchange of visits between Kechioren municipality and municipalities of Kyrgyzstan.

Ambassador K.Omuraliev expressed gratitude for the bust of the Kyrgyz writer Ch. Aitmatov previously installed by the municipality in the park of the same name on his birthday in December 2019.

The parties confirmed the agreement on the establishment of a monument to Manas on the square in front of the Kechioren municipality building, as well as on the allocation of premises in the «Estergon Fortress» Turkic Culture Center for an exhibition and sale of national products of Kyrgyz folk art.
