On December 20, 2021, Ambassador Omuraliev met with the Chairman of the Turkish Court of Accounts Mr. Metin Yener.

The meeting took place within the framework of the opening of a seminar on financial audit, organized by the Turkish Court of Accounts and TIKA for the delegation of the Chamber of Accounts of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Ambassador Omuraliev noted that this seminar will provide the Kyrgyz delegation with an opportunity to study Turkish experience in the field of financial audit. Ambassador highly appreciated the Kyrgyz-Turkish brotherly relations, which are strategic, and noted that the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey is celebrating.

The head of the delegation of the Chamber of Accounts of the Kyrgyz Republic, Auditor Baigazakov, on behalf of the members of the delegation, expressed gratitude to the Turkish side for organizing this event for the exchange of experience with the assistance of TIKA and noted that the topic of training is relevant and is of mutual interest for the Supreme Audit Institutions of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.

Chairman Yener noted the fraternal relations of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey and the need for close cooperation between the accounting institutions of the two countries.
