On June 7, 2022, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with the deputies of the Turkish Grand National Assembly represented by Shamil Ayrim (Istanbul), Mehmet Erdogan (Gaziantep) and Yavuz Subashi (Balikesir) at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Türkiye.

During the meeting were discussed issues of bilateral Kyrgyz-Turkish cooperation, including inter-parliamentary interaction between the two countries.

Taking into account that the above-mentioned deputies are representatives of various regions of Türkiye was reached an agreement on strengthening regional cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Türkiye in the trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The parties also agreed to hold joint events to promote the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkey.
