On April 30, 2019, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek OMURALIEV held a meeting with a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Deputy Chairman of the ruling Justice and Development Party, in charge of international relations Mr. Jevdet Yilmaz.

During the meeting, the parties agreed on cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in the investment and economic spheres. In particular, there was reached an agreement on attracting investments and using public-private partnerships for the purpose of improving the infrastructure of international airports of Bishkek and Osh and the construction of hydropower plants in Kyrgyzstan.
