On June 4, 2024, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkiye Ruslan Kazakbaev and the Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala to the Republic of Turkiye Eduardo Hernandez Recinos.

Ambassador Ruslan Kazakbaev congratulated Hernandez Recinos on his appointment as Ambassador of Guatemala to Turkiye and expressed his readiness to actively work together on all aspects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Guatemala.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of Kyrgyz-Guatemalan cooperation, and also outlined further steps to expand interaction between the two countries in various areas of mutual interest.

The parties mutually noted the need to expand the legal framework between Kyrgyzstan and Guatemala.
