As part of the work carried out by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic to prevent the further spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan, amendments were made to the Government’s decree on the temporary restriction of foreign citizens to enter the country of March 17, 2020.
Recall, in accordance with this decree, from March 19, 2020, foreign citizens were temporarily restricted from entering the country, with the exception of, inter alia, foreign citizens and stateless persons who are members of the families of Kyrgyz citizens or who have a permanent residence permit of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In accordance with the order of the Government dated March 22, 2020, the specified category of citizens of foreign states, entry into the country is also limited, henceforth citizens of foreign states or stateless persons who are members of families of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic or who have a permanent residence permit of the Kyrgyz Republic are also temporarily restricted in entry to the country, until the stabilization of the epidemiological situation.
The restrictive measures taken by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic are aimed solely at preventing the further spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19 in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, and in order to protect the health of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.
