 September 19, 2022 is declared a day of national mourning in the Kyrgyz Republic.
On September 19, 2022, the flag of the Kyrgyz Republic was flown at half mast at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine, and in memory of the dead citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, the work of the diplomatic mission began with a moment of silence.

The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kyiv opened a virtual Book of Condolences, which will be available from September 19 to 20 of this year.

The armed conflict that took place on September 14-17, 2022 on the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border in the Batken region resulted in the death of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Taking this opportunity, the staff of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine expresses deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims, and also wishes a speedy recovery to the victims.
