On February 2, 2021, during the consideration of the program and the composition of the new Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, Deputy S. Ismanov said that "the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine does not help the boxing team, which has been in Ukraine for 10 days."

According to this statement of Deputy S. Ismanov, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine informs that the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Boxing Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry did not give information on the arrival of athletes in Ukraine to the Embassy.

Immediately after the Deputy's statement, a responsible employee of the Embassy contacted with the coach of the Kyrgyz national boxing team
Mr. D.Dzhusubaliev, who said that indeed 2 athletes are in Ukraine at training camps and will stay in Sumy region until February 15, 2021. According to the coach D.Dzhusubaliev, in view of the fact that these athletes do not need any assistance, the Boxing Federation did not contact the Embassy.

At the same time, we inform that the Embassy and the Boxing Federation of Kyrgyzstan have established a direct connection since 2019, and if athletes arrive in Ukraine to participate in tournaments/competitions, the trainers will immediately inform the responsible employee of the Embassy about their arrival. In turn, the Embassy provides all possible assistance to Kyrgyz athletes who arrive in Ukraine to participate in competitions (the relevant press releases are published on the Embassy's website).
