On October 7, 2021, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Zhusupbek Sharipov met with the singer, bandura player, People's Artist of Ukraine Svetlana Mirvada and the Head of the Public Organization “Great Council of Mothers of Ukraine” Valentina Kolechko.

Ms. S.Mirvada and Ms. V.Kolechko expressed interest in visiting the Kyrgyz Republic and organizing joint concerts with Kyrgyz artists, as well as their willingness to promote Kyrgyz culture in Ukraine.

Ambassador Zh. Sharipov expressed gratitude for the meeting and noted the readiness of the Embassy for active cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, and also informed about the activities carried out by the Embassy in order to promote Kyrgyz culture among the Ukrainian people.

The parties discussed a number of bilateral Kyrgyz-Ukrainian issues in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, and also exchanged views on establishing and promoting cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Ukraine.

At the end of the meeting, the Parties expressed mutual interest in further deepening the existing bilateral friendly relations in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
