On October 23, 2019, at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Zh. Sharipov gave a lecture for students of the faculty of international relations on the topic: “The History of the Formation of Kyrgyz Statehood and its Diplomacy”, dedicated to the 75^th anniversary of establishment of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the lecture, Ambassador Zh. Sharipov spoke about the history of the Kyrgyz people, about the first diplomatic contacts of the Kyrgyz people, and the peculiarities of the diplomacy of the Kyrgyz people in ancient, medieval and modern periods. He also informed about the existing bilateral Kyrgyz-Ukrainian relations.

At the end of the lecture, the Ambassador answered to questions of students and teachers.

Ambassador Zh. Sharipov thanked the leadership of the university and presented the author’s work by M. Baijiyev “The Legend of Manas, Semetei and Seitek” and the works of Ch. Aitmatov translated into Ukrainian.

In turn, the President of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, People’s Artist of Ukraine M. Poplavsky thanked the Ambassador for an interesting lecture and noted his readiness for cooperation.
