On January 20, 2020, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic, a meeting was held between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine Zh. Sharipov, representatives and members of the Association of Beekeepers of Kyrgyzstan K. Akmataliev, K. Aly, A. Asanbekov and K. Bayish Uulu with the President of the society beekeepers of Ukraine V.Stretovich.

The parties discussed the prospects for the development of Kyrgyz-Ukrainian interaction in the beekeeping industry, establishing cooperation and exchange of experience between the Association of beekeepers of Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine on bee breeding and honey export technology.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between Beekeeper Associations at the second Kyrgyz-Ukrainian business forum and organizing short-term courses for Kyrgyz beekeepers at the Prokopovich Institute of Beekeeping of Ukraine, as well as at large honey farms.

 

In addition, a working tour to the Apis-Ukraine Farm was organized for representatives and members of the Association of Beekeepers of Kyrgyzstan, which is one of the most powerful enterprises in Ukraine for the production of beekeeping products and their high-quality processing.

During the tour, employees of the Apis-Ukraine showed the full cycle of honey production, the work of laboratories and shared their experience in preparing products for export.
