On October 4, 2022, H.E. Mr. Talantbek Kushchubekov, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Hungary, met with Dr. Zoltán Dubéczi, the Secretary General of the Hungarian Rectors Conference.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the level of bilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Hungary in the field of education, and also discussed promising areas for future cooperation. At the meeting, Ambassador T. Kushchubekov briefly dwelled on the current issues of the bilateral agenda in the field of education, as well as the prospects and plans for strengthening this interaction between the countries.

In turn, Dr. Z. Dubéczi spoke in detail about the work of the Hungarian Rectors Conference and further plans for its development, and also informed about various programs at the Hungarian Higher Education Institutions implemented in recent years. Dr. Z. Dubéczi also expressed his readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in the implementation of joint projects and activities aimed at strengthening interuniversity cooperation.
