Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UN Mirgul Moldoisaeva met with the Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary A. DiCarlo on November 6, 2019.

During the meeting, parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the UN. The Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic informed the Under-Secretary-General about the positive transformations being carried out in the country under the leadership of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov. The Under-Secretary-General was informed about the current political, economic and social situation of the country, as well as on certain issues related to the implementation of the SDG.

In turn, UN Under-Secretary-General Rosemary A. DiCarlo noted a successful meeting with President Sooronbay Jeenbekov as part of her participation at the SCO Summit in June of this year in Bishkek and expressed the willingness of the UN to support further initiatives of the Kyrgyz Republic.
