On September 14, 2021, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Romania with residence in city Kyiv Zhusupbek Sharipov presented copies of his Credentials to the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania D. Neculaescu.

During the conversation, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania D. Neculaescu greeted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Romania Zh. Sharipov and congratulated him on his official inauguration. He stressed that Romania attaches great importance to the development of relations with the Kyrgyz Republic and is ready to develop cooperation in all aspects of bilateral interaction.

Ambassador Zh. Sharipov thanked the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania D. Neculaescu for the opportunity to present copies of his credentials and discuss issues of bilateral cooperation on a wide range of bilateral relations.

Ambassador Zh. Sharipov noted that he would make every effort to actively develop mutually beneficial political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation in the interests of the two states.

As a result of the conversation, the Parties agreed to intensify political dialogue, business contacts, as well as hold inter-MFA consultations to consider a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The conversation took place in a constructive and friendly atmosphere.

Note: According to the new practice established by the Romanian Foreign Ministry due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the presentation of copies of credentials takes place in the format of a video conference. The original of the Credential is sent to the Romanian Foreign Ministry by diplomatic mail through the Romanian Embassy in the host country. As a result of the video conversation, the Romanian Foreign Ministry sends the original of the Credentials to the Presidential Administration.
