On August 12, 2022, at the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, a meeting was held with the Counselor of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine Aksamaev E.B. with the Director of the Department for Citizenship, Passportization and Registration of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, Ms. Garnik M.S.

The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of migration, aimed at facilitating the stay of citizens of the two states.

As a result of the negotiations, agreements were reached on further cooperation between the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine and the State Migration Service of Ukraine in the interests of ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens of both Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Director of the Department, Ms. Krishtop Yu.V. and Chief Specialist of the Department of International Cooperation and Organizational and Protocol Support of the Department of International Relations of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, Ms. Skorobogatova Ya.Yu.
