On March 11, 2020, during a working trip to the Kharkiv region, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Zhusupbek Sharipov met with the Chairman of the Kharkiv Region State Administration Alexey Kucher.

During a bilateral conversation, the Parties discussed the development of promising areas of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Kharkov region of Ukraine.

The parties also discussed the issues of enhancing bilateral business contacts between interested entrepreneurs in the field of agriculture, light industry, IT, cooperation in the field of hydropower, holding industry forums, establishing twinning relations between the Jalal-Abad region and the Kharkiv region, opening the Honorary Consulate of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kharkiv.

Following the meeting, the Parties expressed mutual interest in developing bilateral cooperation and outlined further steps.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Zh. Sharipov left wishes in the book of honored guests of the Kharkiv region.
