On May 27, 2022, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Romania with a residence in the city of Kyiv at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest held presentations on investment and tourism opportunities in the Kyrgyz Republic.

From the Romanian side, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Transport, Department of Sanitary, Veterinary and Food Safety, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, National Association of Travel Agencies, Association of Craftsmen, private companies and businessmen of Romania.

The Embassy provided detailed information on the ongoing work to provide preferences to investors, liberalization of tax and customs requirements, investment climate, development of small and medium-sized businesses in Kyrgyzstan.

The Embassy called on Romanian companies to actively invest in the national economy of our country and open manufacturing enterprises together with Kyrgyz partners.

The Sides expressed mutual interest in intensifying bilateral relations in the economic sphere, and at the same time, an agreement was reached to hold business forums with the participation of Kyrgyz and Romanian business in autumn.
