On April 26, 2021, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine took part in an event dedicated to the 35^th anniversary of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power station, organized by the Society of disabled veterans of the liquidation of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power station.

The event was attended by representatives of the Kiev City Administration, the City Council, disabled veterans, participants in the liquidation of the accident, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Ukraine.

Participants of the requiem rally honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the monument to Chernobyl victims.
