On May 31, 2022, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Bulgaria with a residence in the city of Kyiv met with the Director of the Directorate for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria V. Ganeva.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in the educational field and student exchange programs, as well as advanced training of teaching staff in universities in Bulgaria and Kyrgyzstan.

The Sides expressed interest in signing a bilateral agreement at the level of the Ministry, which will include a clause on the provision of quotas for free education in universities of both parties on a parity basis.

At the end of the meeting, the Sides agreed to actively cooperate in the educational field.
