In 8^th of July, 2019 the delegation of the winners of the competition - exhibition of children's drawings: «According to the pages of Chingiz Aitmatovs books» led by the Director of the National Library for Children of Ukraine A.Gordiyenko and Deputy Director of the Library L.Polikarpova visited the Kyrgyz Republic.

The competition was organized at the initiative of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine in conjunction with the National Library for Children of Ukraine with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Chingiz Aitmatov. In total, more than 4,000 participants from all over Ukraine took part in the competition, among which 151 works were selected and the winners were determined.

The winners during the trip will get acquainted with the sights of the capital of Bishkek and visit the pearl of Kyrgyzstan on the Issyk-Kul Lake, where they can get even closer acquainted with the cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people.
