On December 13, 2019, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Bulgaria (concurrently) Zhusupbek Sharipov presented copies of his Credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. P. Doykov.

During the ceremony, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. P. Doykov greeted the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Bulgaria Zh. Sharipov. He emphasized that Bulgaria attaches great importance to the development of relations with the Kyrgyz Republic and is ready to develop cooperation on all aspects of bilateral cooperation.

In turn, Ambassador Zh. Sharipov noted the promising areas of interaction between countries, interest in enhancing bilateral cooperation.

On the same day, Ambassador Zh. Sharipov held meetings and discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation with the directors of the State Protocol Directorate B. Simeonova, the Directorate for Eastern Europe and Central Asia G. Ganev, the International Law Directorate D. Chakarov, the UN Directorate V. Yotov, the Directorate for Foreign Economic Affairs Relations M. Ganeva Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria. During the meeting, the Sides agreed to intensify cooperation.
