On February 4, 2020, during a working trip to participate in the Kyrgyz-Ukrainian sectoral business forum on light industry, the meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Zhusupbek Sharipov with the Chairman of the Vinnitsa Regional State Administration V. Skalsky, the Mayor of Vinnitsa S. Morgunov and Deputy Head of the Regional Council I. Khmel.

The meeting discussed the development of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the regions of Kyrgyzstan and the Vinnitsa region of Ukraine. The parties also discussed issues of enhancing bilateral business contacts between interested entrepreneurs in the field of agriculture, food industry, light industry and tourism.

An agreement was reached to strengthen cooperation on the development of trade and economic cooperation and to intensify cultural and humanitarian ties.
