A telephone conversation took place between the Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Moldova

On May 27, 2020, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, O. уляulea.

During the conversation, a circle of topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres was discussed.

As part of the intensification of bilateral political cooperation, the ministers considered a schedule of upcoming events and visits, including the issue of holding inter-MFA consultations in 2020.

The ministers paid special attention to the issue of enhancing trade and economic cooperation by organizing investment and business forums, establishing direct contacts between entrepreneurs, organizing economic field missions for a substantive discussion of cooperation, in particular, on the exchange of experience in agriculture.

An exchange of views on electoral support within the framework of international organizations took place.

The ministers also discussed the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular measures taken by the two governments to protect public health and combat the further spread of coronavirus infection.
