An exhibition with the demonstration of agricultural products of the Central Asian countries, organized by the embassies of the Central Asian countries in Vienna together with the Austrian NGO Hilfswerk International (HWI), was held on June 22 in the Representative Office of the Federal Land of Lower Austria in Vienna.

The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic which included the head of the department of the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic Iskandarbek Mamatov, as well as heads of companies engaged in the production of honey, walnuts, pistachios and prunes, was headed by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic Azamat Mukashev.

Executive Director of HWI Stefan Fritz opened an official opening ceremony of the exhibition, after which the ambassadors of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan made their speeches. Then the official presentation of the exhibited products of the Central Asian states took place, during which they held a tasting. At the end of the exhibition, all participants and guests were given the opportunity to treat themselves to a variety of national cuisine prepared by the embassies of the Central Asian countries.

The event was attended by representatives of Austrian federal ministries, supermarket chains, retailers, food companies, as well as supply companies.

The program of the weekly stay of agricultural producers of the Central Asian states in Austria was rich and informative, with visits to specific farms and cooperatives of Lower Austria and Styria, which made it possible to get acquainted with the best practices and organization of the agricultural cluster to ensure the sustainable development of livestock, meat and dairy production and cheese, foodstuffs, advanced training, which was positively assessed by all participants in this event.
