On March 2, 2023, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev visited the Claas company in Harsewinkel and met with the Regional Director of the company Mr. Dr. Nils Roych. The purpose of the meeting was to establish cooperation in the supply of tractors and agricultural machinery "Claas" used for leasing for agricultural enterprises in Kyrgyzstan, the price of which is up to 50% cheaper than new equipment. Thus, farmers will have the opportunity to get high-quality equipment for a relatively inexpensive price. Currently, Claas supplies new equipment to the Kyrgyz Republic through an official importer.
The representative of the Claas company noted that it is paramount for the company to provide the farmer with high-quality and reliable agricultural machinery. Along with new equipment, it is also possible to organize the supply of used agricultural equipment, which is undergoing major repairs and is provided with a guarantee from the company.
An agreement was reached on holding negotiations between the responsible departments of the Kyrgyz Republic and representatives of the company for the practical implementation of the issue.
