On April 11, 2023, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Germany Mr.Omurbek Tekebaev met with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Temir Sariev, who arrived in Germany on a working visit.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the issues of expanding trade and economic cooperation with German companies and attracting investment in various sectors of the economy of Kyrgyzstan. The issue of opening a representative office of the CCI of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany was discussed.

On the same day, with the assistance of the Embassy, a meeting was held between the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Temir Sariev and the Regional Director of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Mr. Eduard Kinsbruner.

During the meeting, issues of developing cooperation between the business communities of Kyrgyzstan and Germany in areas of mutual interest were discussed. In particular, an agreement was reached on organizing a Kyrgyz-German business forum in the short term.

The parties agreed on the need to develop Kyrgyz-German economic cooperation in the following areas: renewable energy, tourism, agriculture, and the mining industry.

Mr. Temir Sariev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, also met with Mr. Gerrit Schmitter, General Director of Commit GmbH, who will visit Kyrgyzstan at the end of April 2023 as the head of a delegation of German companies.
