On April 12, 2023, a meeting of the Committee for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce was held, in which the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Temir Sariev took part as a guest of honor.

In his welcoming speech, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Temir Sariev spoke about the opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of investment and export of Kyrgyz products. The following were identified as priority areas of cooperation: energy, mining, tourism, logistics projects and the export of Kyrgyz products.

In his speech, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev dwelled in detail on the advantages of Kyrgyzstan, which may favorably affect the expansion of the Kyrgyz-German economic cooperation.

Representatives of German business showed interest in cooperation in the field of logistics, minerals, renewable energy and the supply of organic food from Kyrgyzstan.

An agreement was reached to hold a Kyrgyz-Hamburg business forum this year.
