On September 15, 2023, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Omurbek Tekebaev with the Head of the Administration of the Cham District of the Federal State of Bavaria, Franz Löffler, and the Head of the Employment Agency of the Schwandorf District in Bavaria, Siegfried Bäumler.

The meeting was organized as part of a ceremonial event organized by the Cham District Administration in honor of the arrival of students from Kyrgyzstan to Germany to undergo three years of vocational training in Germany. Since September 2023, 21 secondary school graduates from Kyrgyzstan began their training and internship in German companies in various areas, because information technology, gastronomy, hotel business, social sphere, etc.

Ambassador O.Tekebaev in his speech noted that this project became possible thanks to close cooperation with the German side within the framework of the Memorandum on cooperation in the field of employment of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany, which was signed on September 21, 2022 in Bishkek, and reported on the work being carried out between the two countries on the issues of training qualified personnel in Kyrgyzstan for the purpose of their employment, both in Kyrgyzstan and in Germany.

The head of the administration of theam district of the Federal state of Bavaria, Franz Löffler, noted with satisfaction the good knowledge of the German language among students from Kyrgyzstan and their desire to gain knowledge and experience in Germany, and also expressed his readiness for further cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.

The event was also attended by the heads of a number of Bavarian companies, in which students from Kyrgyzstan will undergo professional training and at the same time practice in their chosen areas for three years.

The students themselves from Kyrgyzstan noted that the opportunity for them to study and gain experience in German companies will contribute to their future work, and expressed gratitude to the leadership of Kyrgyzstan and Germany for their support in this direction.
