On 28th October, 2020 (Wednesday) in Tehran, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Iran H.E. Avazbek Abdurazakov has met the Chairman of the  «Iran-Kyrgyzstan» Interparliamentary Friendship Group of Majlis (Parliament) of the Islamic Republic of Iran H.E. Ali-Askar KHANI.
     During the meeting, the Kyrgyz diplomat has informed the Iranian parliamentarian about the recent internal political events and  peaceful transfer of power as well as the formation of a new Government and the current situation in Kyrgyzstan, and also informed the Iranian side  that  the situation in the country had been stabilized and entered into a legitimate phase, while all political processes in the country are developing  in accordance with the law and the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic.
    Ambassador Abdurazakov stressed  that the Kyrgyz Republic remains fully committed to  her  international obligations including  all bilateral agreements and agreements previously reached with the Islamic Republic of Iran and in particular, in the sphere of bilateral inter-parliamentary interaction and cooperation.
  Chairman of the “Iran-Kyrgyzstan”  Interparliamentary  Friendship Group H.E. Ali-Askar Khani highly valued the long-standing friendly relations and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Iran in various fields and wished the brotherly people of Kyrgyzstan further future well-being and prosperity as well as a successful convening of forthcoming Parliamentary and Presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan while reiterating a deep interest and readiness of Iranian parliamentarians to further strengthen inter-parliamentary ties and cooperation with their Kyrgyz colleagues. 
   During  the  meeting, the parties agreed to maintain close working contacts and coordination in order to facilitate further expansion of ing inter-parliamentary contacts and delegation exchanges between the Parliaments of the two countries.
    The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere of mutual understanding.
