On April 12, 2022, a country presentation on the investment and export potential of the Kyrgyz Republic was held for representatives of more than 120 Italian companies.

For the first time in the history of Kyrgyz-Italian bilateral relations, an introductory meeting with the participation of sectoral government agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic was organized as part of the planned work on the development of economic diplomacy. The event, organized by the Italian Trade and Investment Agency (ICE) with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Italy, was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan and Italy T. Representatives of government agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic made presentations on export and investment potential and focused on specific potential investment projects. At the end of the event, the competent authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic (Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Agriculture, National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic) answered questions from Italian companies on project implementation in the Kyrgyz Republic.
